Feng Shui Tips

Knowing all the ins and outs of feng shui can take several years of study. This can intimidate many from trying to apply the concepts to their home, but the truth is there are some simple feng shui tips that help one get started:

•Clutter creates stale energy, remove unnecessary items from any area.

•Mirrors that are cracked or broken are said to fragment one’s life and should be discarded immediately.

•Plants can absorb “bad” energies given off by electronics.

•But plants with thorns or spikes such as cacti produce negative energy and can cause arguments in the home.

•Gold fish are a symbol of wealth.

•Rounded objects and furniture promote harmony. Sharp corners and angles can disrupt the energy flow.

•Moving items encourage a positive energy flow, some good example of moving items are wind chimes and household pets.

•Flowing water in the home encourages prosperity.

•A child’s room should be near the front of the home to encourage independence.

•Closet doors should be kept closed. Open closets will cause personal matters to become public.

•Don’t place a desk facing a wall; this will act as a barrier to success.
